IMAGES OF OUR WATER WORLD

All the districts of London Docklands are linked by the eight-lane highway that is the River Thames. Its wide-open spaces and the vast Docks on both banks make for spectacular vistas, especially when the sun is rising or setting. Views of the water put a 25 percent premium on property prices, but at times demand outstrips available apartments.

The theme of Images One is water and this features in all the photographs selected by our panel. London Docklands and the River Thames have never looked better than through the lenses of Ray Little (past Nikon Digital Photographer of the Year), and Tony Mitchell who can work weeks to capture that special moment when the sun enhances already exciting locations.
